Short Story Release

I’m thrilled to have a short story released in this Christmas book! The Lucy Wilson Mysteries, filled with monsters, aliens, mayhem and adventure.

The Lucy Wilson Mysteries is a Lethbridge-Stewart spin-off adventure inspired by characters created for Doctor Who by Mervyn Haisman and Henry Lincoln. This anthology has five stories by a range of 5 different authors. You can read my press release below:

The Mobile Army, written by popular children’s author Cherry Cobb. She says: “I was thrilled to be given the opportunity to write a Lucy Wilson story, having read the books I fell in love with Lucy as a strong independent character who isn’t afraid to stand up for her beliefs. I hope my daughter grows up to have the same outlook on life.”

Available now from Candy Jar Books, Amazon and all good retailers. A great Christmas present for kids and adults alike.

Book Review…

Whilst it is entirely lovely to get book reviews from children, it is also thrilling when adults read and enjoy your book.  Here is a snippet of a recent review. I have had to edit it as there are spoilers!

‘I finished my paperback of Will’s War yesterday and found it such a great adventure! He really went through the wringer after he got placed on a farm then was forced to work on the ship. I wondered if Will looks up Elizabeth, Frank and Charlie in the future and even visits them when they are elderly or their grandkids?

Thanks for a fab book!’

Will’s War is shortly to be published on Kindle (possibly even free for a short time – shhh) I will keep you all updated!
